This master bathroom in a home near Menlo Park, CA features a concrete countertop with integral sinks and a concrete tub surround. Once the jacuzzi tub and cabinets were installed in the bathroom, templates were made. Back in the shop, these were used to create custom molds. The counter and tub surround were precast. The tub surround was cast in three pieces to make transportation and installation easier. The countertop, featuring double integral wave sinks, was cast in two pieces. The homeowner requested a teal green color that Diamond D was able to match by mixing a variety of pigments.

Pourfolio Custom Concrete
San Diego, CA
This monolithic soaking tub (72 x 36 x 24; 1500 lb) provides ample room for two in Pourfolio's custom "Mortar" color. It is designed with an overflow that continues into the plumbing wall to the left of the tub. Adjacent to the wall there is a 16 x 16 ramp sink with infinity edge detail. The sink appears to float off the wood wall behind which conceals both the bracketing as well as the plumbing.
This master bathroom is part of a concrete home originally built back in 1923 by the famed Austrian architect, Rudolph M. Schindler.
